THE STUFF YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING.
Whether you are joining the network or looking to activate college communities, here is how After Class works.
For Students & Organizations
Is it free to join After Class?
Yes. There is no cost to join the After Class network.
Am I guaranteed paid opportunities?
No. Joining the network means you can be considered for relevant opportunities as they come up. We do not guarantee that every member will receive a paid opportunity.
What happens after I sign up?
Your information is added to the After Class network. When a brand is looking for someone who fits your school, audience, organization, location, interests, or background, we may reach out with an opportunity.
How often will you contact me?
We only want to reach out when there is something that could actually be relevant to you. The goal is not to flood your inbox with random opportunities.
Do I have to accept every opportunity?
No. Every opportunity is optional. You can review the details and decide whether it makes sense for you.
Does After Class take a percentage of what I earn?
Joining the network is free. Any compensation structure tied to a specific opportunity will be clearly explained before you agree to participate.
Can I join if I already have a manager or agent?
Yes. After Class does not have to replace your existing representation. If you receive an opportunity through the network, we can work with you and your representative as needed.
Why do you ask for my school, social handles, rates, and other information?
That information helps us match you with relevant opportunities and avoid sending you things that are not a fit.
Do I need to be an influencer to join?
No. The network is built for college students of many kinds, including creators, athletes, Greek life members, campus organization leaders, UGC creators, and students who may simply be a good fit for a specific brand opportunity.
Can sororities, fraternities, teams, and campus organizations join?
Yes. Entire organizations can join and be considered for sponsorships, product drops, events, ambassador programs, research, UGC, and other brand activations.
What if my organization needs approval before working with a brand?
That is completely fine. We ask about approval requirements during signup so we can understand the process before presenting an opportunity.
How do payments work?
Payment terms depend on the opportunity. Any compensation, timing, requirements, and deliverables will be explained before you agree to participate.
What kinds of opportunities could I receive?
Opportunities may include sponsored content, UGC, ambassador programs, NIL campaigns, product sampling, events, research, recruiting campaigns, brand activations, and more.
How do you decide who gets selected?
Selection depends on what the brand is looking for. That could include school, location, audience, content style, sport, organization, major, interests, social following, engagement, or other campaign requirements.
What if I only want certain types of opportunities?
You are always free to decline anything that is not right for you. We also use the information you provide to try to send more relevant opportunities.
Can I stay in the network after I graduate?
Yes. Graduation does not necessarily mean you stop being relevant to brands. Your status can change from current student to alumni while remaining part of the broader After Class network.
How is my information used?
Your information is used to operate the network, evaluate potential matches, communicate relevant opportunities, and support campaigns. More detail is available in our Privacy Policy.
Can I leave the network?
Yes. You can ask to stop receiving opportunities or request changes to your participation at any time, subject to any commitments you have already accepted for an active campaign.
Can my organization use After Class for philanthropy or community-impact opportunities?
Yes. Organizations can opt in for cause-related opportunities such as brand-funded philanthropy activations, scholarships, service initiatives, product donations, and other community-impact programs. Any opportunity is optional and the details will be shared before your organization agrees to participate.
For Brands
What does After Class do?
After Class helps brands find and work with college students, creators, athletes, Greek life, campus organizations, and other college communities for targeted campaigns and activations.
Why use After Class instead of finding students ourselves?
You can find students yourself. The value of After Class is making that process easier and more scalable by helping with sourcing, matching, outreach, coordination, campaign management, and execution.
Can you find people at a specific school?
Yes. A brand can come to us with a very specific request, whether that means one creator at a certain university, ten athletes at one school, or organizations across multiple campuses.
Can you work with entire organizations or teams?
Yes. After Class can support opportunities involving sororities, fraternities, campus clubs, athletic teams, student organizations, and other groups.
What if the exact people we need are not already in the network?
We can also source for specific campaign needs. The network gives us a head start, but we are not limited only to people who have already signed up.
What types of campaigns can you support?
Examples include UGC, sponsored social content, ambassador programs, product sampling, events, NIL partnerships, research, recruiting, campus activations, and multi-school campaigns.
Can you run campaigns across multiple colleges?
Yes. Multi-campus campaigns are one of the core reasons After Class exists.
How are participants selected?
Participants can be matched based on factors such as school, location, audience, sport, organization, content style, demographics, interests, social reach, engagement, and campaign fit.
Who handles briefs, deadlines, revisions, and deliverables?
After Class can manage the campaign process, including participant coordination, briefs, deadlines, deliverables, revisions, and communication, depending on the scope of the project.
How does pricing work?
Pricing depends on the campaign. Costs may include participant compensation, campaign management, sourcing, activation fees, or other services depending on the scope.
Do brands have to use paid creators?
Not always. Some campaigns may involve paid creators, while others may involve product sampling, gifting, research, events, or organization-wide activations. The structure depends on the campaign and what participants are being asked to do.
How quickly can a campaign launch?
Timing depends on the number of participants, schools, deliverables, approvals, and campaign complexity. After Class can provide a realistic timeline once we understand the request.
Can you help us build the campaign, not just find people?
Yes. Brands can come to After Class with a fully built brief or simply with a goal. We can help shape the activation and determine the right type of participants.
How do we get started?
Submit a brand request and tell us who you are trying to reach, where you want to activate, and what you want the campaign to accomplish.
Can After Class support philanthropy and community-impact campaigns?
Yes. Brands can use After Class to support campus philanthropies, scholarships, service initiatives, student-led causes, charitable organizations, and other community programs while also coordinating the surrounding campus activation.
How are charitable funds and After Class fees handled?
The campaign scope can separate charitable or community-support funds from After Class fees for strategy, sourcing, coordination, and campaign management. The exact structure depends on the campaign and is agreed to before launch.
Still have a question?
Students and organizations can join the network. Brands can tell us what they are looking for.
