Network Participation Terms
Effective date: October 7, 2026
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to join unless After Class expressly approves an exception in writing. You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to act for any organization you list or represent.
2. Joining Does Not Guarantee Work
Joining the network only makes you eligible to be considered for relevant opportunities. After Class and brands may choose which participants to contact, present, shortlist, select, or remove. No minimum work, income, frequency, or opportunity is promised.
3. Profile Information; Verification
You agree to keep profile information reasonably current, including school, graduation status, affiliations, organization role, social handles, audience information, rates, location, and availability. After Class may verify or supplement information using public sources and may request screenshots, analytics, identity information, school verification, or other documentation.
4. Rate Information Is Non-Binding
Any rate or range submitted during signup is informational only. Every campaign may be priced separately based on scope, platform, audience, usage rights, exclusivity, timing, travel, event requirements, revisions, performance incentives, and other factors.
5. Accepting an Opportunity
You may decline an opportunity before accepting it. Once you accept campaign-specific written terms, you are expected to perform them. A campaign confirmation may include deliverables, deadlines, compensation, expenses, usage rights, exclusivity, content guidelines, required disclosures, revision limits, event obligations, referral codes, performance incentives, and cancellation terms.
6. Professional Performance
You will perform accepted work professionally, lawfully, safely, and on time; communicate promptly about material delays; follow the agreed brief; attend required events punctually; and provide reasonable proof of completion. You may not substitute another person or organization without written approval.
7. Revisions and Approval
You will make reasonable revisions required to bring a deliverable into compliance with the agreed brief. Material changes to the original scope, creative concept, usage rights, or deliverables may require additional compensation. Unless otherwise agreed, brands do not have unlimited revision rights.
8. Authenticity; No Fraud
You may not purchase or fabricate followers, views, likes, comments, clicks, signups, event attendance, screenshots, testimonials, or other performance indicators for a campaign. You must disclose known material audience anomalies or prior enforcement that could materially affect a campaign. Fraudulent performance may result in non-payment, repayment obligations, removal from the network, and legal action.
9. FTC and Advertising Compliance
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose material connections to brands, including money, free product, travel, discounts, event access, or other benefits, and comply with applicable FTC endorsement requirements and platform rules. Disclosures must be difficult to miss and placed with the endorsement itself where required.
10. Honest Opinions and Product Claims
Endorsements must reflect your honest experience. You may not make false, misleading, unsubstantiated, medical, health, financial, performance, comparative, or other regulated claims unless the brand has expressly authorized the claim and provided substantiation or approved language. You may not post fake reviews or testimonials or misrepresent your experience.
11. Content Rights
You retain ownership of pre-existing intellectual property and, unless campaign terms state otherwise, original campaign content. Campaign-specific terms will define any organic reposting, paid media, whitelisting, boosting, editing, sublicensing, term, territory, category exclusivity, or ownership rights. No perpetual ownership or paid-ad rights are implied.
12. Name, Image, Likeness, and AI
You grant only those name/image/likeness rights expressly stated in the campaign terms. Brands and After Class may not create a materially deceptive synthetic version of your voice, face, or likeness for external advertising unless you separately consent in writing. Routine editing, resizing, captioning, formatting, and platform-native modifications may be allowed if included in campaign usage rights.
13. Payment; Taxes
Payment amount, conditions, and timing are campaign-specific. You must provide accurate payout and tax information when requested. You are responsible for your own federal, state, and local taxes unless law requires withholding. After Class may issue required tax forms and may withhold or delay amounts when legally required, when tax/payment documentation is incomplete, or when a good-faith dispute exists regarding performance.
14. Independent Contractor Relationship
Unless expressly stated otherwise, you participate as an independent contractor, not an employee of After Class or the brand. You control the manner and means of your creative work subject to the agreed deliverables, deadlines, brand-safety requirements, legal requirements, and campaign specifications. You are not entitled to employee benefits.
15. Cancellation; Withdrawal; No-Show
If you can no longer perform, notify After Class immediately. Compensation may be reduced or forfeited for unperformed work, missed events, unapproved late delivery, or material breach. Documented emergencies may be handled reasonably in After Class's discretion and subject to brand commitments. Repeated no-shows or withdrawals may result in removal from the network.
16. Expenses and Travel
No expense is reimbursable unless approved in writing in advance. You are responsible for your own transportation, equipment, connectivity, insurance, and ordinary business expenses unless campaign terms state otherwise.
17. Events and Physical Activations
You must follow venue, school, safety, age, security, and event rules. You may not distribute products where prohibited or to ineligible recipients. You are responsible for using reasonable care and immediately reporting safety incidents, injuries, product issues, or other material problems.
18. Organizations
If participating for a chapter, team, club, sorority, fraternity, association, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to discuss the opportunity and will obtain required internal, advisor, school, national-organization, or other approvals before binding the organization. You are responsible for accurate member-count and participation representations.
19. NIL and College Athletes
College athletes must disclose applicable school, conference, governing-body, team, collective, agent, contract, state-law, or reporting requirements. You are responsible for obtaining any required approval and avoiding prohibited categories or conflicts. After Class may condition a campaign on written school/agent confirmation or a separate NIL addendum.
20. Confidentiality
Non-public briefs, launch dates, unreleased products, rates, participant lists, brand contacts, campaign strategy, credentials, performance data, and other marked or reasonably understood confidential information must be kept confidential and used only for the relevant opportunity.
21. Non-Circumvention
For 12 months after an After Class Introduction, you will not intentionally bypass After Class to avoid its fee for substantially similar paid work arising from that introduction. Pre-existing relationships are excluded if disclosed in writing within five business days. Joining After Class does not otherwise make After Class your exclusive manager or agent.
22. Non-Exclusivity
You remain free to pursue unrelated opportunities independently. Category, competitor, geographic, or time-based exclusivity applies only if specifically agreed for a campaign and should be reflected in compensation.
23. Account Security and Brand Access
Do not share passwords with After Class or brands unless a secure, specifically approved workflow requires it. Where platform access is needed, use delegated-access tools where available. You remain responsible for protecting your accounts and promptly reporting unauthorized access.
24. Regulated and Restricted Campaigns
After Class may impose additional age, location, disclosure, licensing, safety, or eligibility conditions for regulated categories. You may decline any campaign. You must not participate in a campaign you are legally ineligible to perform.
25. Reputation and Conduct
After Class may remove or suspend a participant for fraud, harassment, discrimination, threats, unlawful activity, serious brand-safety concerns, repeated material breaches, or conduct that reasonably creates substantial risk to a campaign or the network.
26. Participant Warranties
You represent that your submitted content is original or properly licensed; does not knowingly infringe third-party rights; your statements are truthful; you have necessary permissions for people, locations, music, trademarks, and other materials you include; and your performance complies with applicable law and campaign terms.
27. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify After Class for third-party claims arising from your breach, unlawful or infringing content, false claims, fraud, taxes, unauthorized music or materials, lack of authority, or misconduct, subject to applicable law.
28. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, After Class is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost opportunities, platform changes, account actions by third parties, or a brand's failure beyond amounts actually received by After Class for your applicable campaign. Nothing limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
29. Disputes
The dispute-resolution, arbitration, class-waiver, governing-law, and other general provisions in the After Class Terms of Use are incorporated into these Participation Terms.
